When The Rain Comes Down I'll Be There

"So city boy whadya planning to do tonight?" asked Korra as she walked in the apartment

"Nothing?Whadya want this time Korra?"

"Well I was hoping you could give me a tour of the city."

"Well umm no thanks I'll find something productive."

"Oh we'll that's harsh but umm don't worry I guess I've should've gotten the hint that you hated me ever since the day you met me!"

Korra stormed out eyes filled with water she was out of the stadium and into the rain of night.She had to stop awhile and cry so she pulled herself to the side and started to ball.She was only there for a few minutes and she was already soaked and shivering.

"Korra! Korra!"yelled Mako running her way.She couldn't let him see her like this she had to leave she ran towards the river leading to the temple like her ass was on fire!She couldn't swim and the boats won't be out not in this storm so she just hid nehind a huge tree she sat down hugged her knees tight and began to cry.

"Korra! Answer me!" Mako new she was near so he started to do the only thing he could do and it was evil. Mako started to cough and get on the ground acting weak.Korra got scared and went over there,cautiously,and grabbed his shoulders.

"Gotchya!" he swooped her up and took her back to the apartment no matter how loud she was screaming.When they got there he had to light up some candles on the chandelier and kitchen so it kinda looked like they had electricity which they didn't.He made Korra sit on the couch next to him but not too close.

"Your shaking!"he said having fire in his palm.

"Why would you care?'Korra asked bitterly.

Mako knew he had to do something to make her smile that beautiful smile of hers so he decided to make her laugh:"Because I'm your friend." he batted his eyes really fast and succeeded on making her laugh.

"Can you airbend us dry?" asked Mako

"No."

"Why not?"

"I can't yet okay I try and try and try but nothing I'm starting to wonder if I'll be the worst avatar in history!"

"You are a great avatar your trying that's what avatars do I believe in you Korra."

Korra was shocked and didn't know what else to do but to lay her head on his shoulder and that's exactly what she did.Mako smiled at this and rested his head on hers not expecting her next move.She looked him in the eyes and kissed him quickly on the lips.He didn't move nor say anything he was shocked.

"I'll umm just go now I'm sorry!" Korra's voice turned horse from trying not to cry.

"No no just stay with me Korra it's raining and I don't want you to get could."

"Let me wear your scarf and it's a deal!"

"Tell you what if I give you my scarf then you have to meet me in my bed deal?"

"Deal!"
